Voici comment d\u00e9crypter une \u00e9tiquette et choisir des draps dignes d&rsquo;un \u00e9tablissement haut de gamme.<\/p>\n<h2>Le nombre de fils, qu&rsquo;est-ce que c&rsquo;est ?<\/h2>\n<p>Le nombre de fils correspond \u00e0 la quantit\u00e9 de fils tiss\u00e9s par unit\u00e9 de surface (au centim\u00e8tre carr\u00e9 en Europe, au pouce carr\u00e9 dans le monde anglo-saxon). Un chiffre plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 indique g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement un tissu plus dense et plus doux \u2014 <strong>\u00e0 condition que la mati\u00e8re soit de qualit\u00e9<\/strong>. Un excellent drap d&rsquo;h\u00f4tel se situe autour de <strong>200 \u00e0 300 fils\/cm\u00b2<\/strong> en coton peign\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h2>Percale ou satin : deux toucher, deux ambiances<\/h2>\n<p>La <strong>percale<\/strong> est un tissage serr\u00e9 \u00ab une dessus, une dessous \u00bb : mat, sec, respirant, avec ce craquant frais des grandes maisons. Le <strong>satin de coton<\/strong> (ou sateen) pr\u00e9sente un tissage \u00e0 flott\u00e9s qui lui donne un aspect lustr\u00e9, soyeux et l\u00e9g\u00e8rement plus chaud.
